Noah and the Flood
In the days of Noah, the earth was filled with violence and corruption, and God decided to send a flood to cleanse the earth (Genesis 6:5-7). Noah found favor with God and built an ark to save his family and the animals (Genesis 6:14). After the flood, God made a covenant with Noah and placed a rainbow in the sky as a sign of His promise (Genesis 9:13).
Cain and Abel
Cain and Abel were the sons of Adam and Eve who brought offerings to the Lord, but God accepted Abel's offering and not Cain's (Genesis 4:3-5). In jealousy and anger, Cain killed his brother Abel, committing the first murder (Genesis 4:8). God punished Cain but also showed mercy by protecting him (Genesis 4:15).
Goliath
Goliath was a giant Philistine warrior from Gath who challenged the army of Israel, but the young shepherd David defeated him with a sling and a stone (1 Samuel 17:49).
