The Tabernacle
God instructed the Israelites to build the Tabernacle as a place where His presence would dwell among them (Exodus 25:8). The Tabernacle included the Ark of the Covenant and was the center of Israel's worship during their journey in the wilderness.
The Golden Calf
While Moses was on Mount Sinai receiving the law, the Israelites made a golden calf and worshiped it as an idol (Exodus 32:4). Moses returned, destroyed the idol, and called the people to repent (Exodus 32:19-26).
The Ten Commandments
At Mount Sinai, God gave Moses the Ten Commandments as part of His covenant with Israel (Exodus 20:1-17). These laws taught the Israelites how to live in obedience to God and how to treat others.
