Daniel in the Lions' Den
Daniel was thrown into a den of lions because he continued to pray to God even after a law forbade prayer, but God protected him and he was not harmed (Daniel 6:22).
Jonah and Nineveh
God told Jonah to go to the city of Nineveh and warn them of judgment, but Jonah tried to run away and was swallowed by a great fish before finally going to Nineveh where the people repented and were spared (Jonah 1-3).
Elisha's Miracles
Elisha was a prophet who succeeded Elijah and performed many miracles that showed God's power and care for His people, including providing oil for a widow, raising a child from the dead, and healing Naaman (2 Kings 4-5).
