Birth of Moses

During a time when Pharaoh ordered Hebrew baby boys to be killed, Moses was hidden by his mother and placed in a basket in the Nile River, where Pharaoh's daughter found and adopted him (Exodus 2:1-10). Moses grew up in Pharaoh's household but was born a Hebrew and would later become the leader who delivered Israel from Egypt.
