Manna in the Wilderness
While traveling in the wilderness, the Israelites complained about hunger, and God provided manna from heaven for them to eat each day (Exodus 16:4). The manna appeared each morning and sustained the Israelites throughout their journey in the wilderness (Exodus 16:35).
Crossing the Red Sea
After leaving Egypt, Pharaoh pursued the Israelites, but God parted the Red Sea so the Israelites could cross on dry ground, and the Egyptian army was destroyed when the waters returned (Exodus 14:21-28). This event marked the final deliverance of Israel from Egypt.
The Passover
God instructed the Israelites to mark their doorposts with the blood of a lamb so that the Lord would pass over their homes during the final plague in Egypt (Exodus 12:13). This event led to Pharaoh finally releasing the Israelites from slavery and became an annual memorial for Israel (Exodus 12:14).
