Zurishaddai was the father of Shelumiel, the leader of the tribe of Simeon during Israel's wilderness organization.
Biography
Numbers 1 and 2 identify Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai as the tribal leader of Simeon. The same patronymic appears when Shelumiel presents Simeon's offering at the altar dedication and commands the tribe in the wilderness marching order. Scripture gives no independent narrative about Zurishaddai.
