Sirion
Sirion was the Sidonian name for Mount Hermon. The name appears in Deuteronomy and, in a slightly different form, in Psalm 29.
Biblical Usage
Sirion appears in Deuteronomy as the name by which the Sidonians knew Hermon. Psalm 29 gives the slightly altered form “Shirion,” naming it together with Lebanon.
