Shelah
Shelah is the name of Judah’s youngest son and ancestor of the Shelanites, and also of a descendant of Arphaxad and father of Eber. A related form names the waters of Shiloah.
Biblical Usage
Judah’s son Shelah gave his name to the Shelanites. The other Shelah belongs to the genealogy from Arphaxad to Eber. In Nehemiah, a related form corresponds to Shiloah.
