Shammua
Shammua was the name of a Reubenite spy sent to explore Canaan, a son of David, and a Levite living in Jerusalem under Nehemiah.
Biblical Usage
The Reubenite Shammua was one of the spies sent by Moses to search the land. Another Shammua was among David’s sons, while a Levite named Shammua lived in Jerusalem in Nehemiah’s time.
