Shalim, Land of
The land of Shalim was a district through which Saul passed while searching for his father’s lost donkeys. Its exact location is uncertain, though it may have been near the territory of Dan.
Biblical Usage
Shalim appears only in the account of Saul’s journey in 1 Samuel 9:4. Saul crossed the district during his unsuccessful search before reaching other regions.
