LAWFUL
Lawful means permitted, righteous, or in accordance with a recognized law or declared will. Biblically, conduct is lawful when it agrees with God’s standards of justice and righteousness.
Biblical Usage
Scripture calls God lawful in His punishment of the wicked and reward of the righteous, and calls human conduct lawful when it is just and agrees with God’s law. The written law is the recognized standard by which persons and actions are judged lawful or unlawful.
