Lamentations, Book of
The Book of Lamentations is a collection of five poems grieving Jerusalem’s fall to the Chaldeans. Its acrostic structure, vivid sorrow, confession of sin, and prayer for restoration give voice to the suffering of God’s people.
Biblical Usage
