Lambs
Lambs are young sheep, and they formed an important part of Israel’s sacrificial offerings. They were especially associated with the daily sacrifices, festivals, and Passover.
Biblical Usage
Lambs were included in many sacrifices, including the daily offerings, Sabbath offerings, new-moon offerings, and other appointed offerings. The paschal lamb is treated under Passover.
